A selection committee member once said that if one more person started a cover letter with, “We are pleased to present this proposal,” he would scream!
This is one of many common blunders that drive proposal reviewers crazy and keep firms from being shortlisted. What are selection committees looking for? What turns them off and what do they love to see? What are the most common missteps? We will cover all of this and more.
Julie Flattery, Affiliate AIA will report the answers to many of the questions put forth in her PRC conference panel discussion with three savvy proposal reviewers. They answered head-scratching questions, dispelled myths that keep proposers from being shortlisted, and advised on what impresses them most and what turns them off. Attendees will leave informed, armed, and ready to create winning proposals.
Julie will be discussing:
• Proposal Basics: What’s the Easy Button from the Selection Committee’s Perspective?
